During the journey, sudden acceleration and braking should be avoided. For waterway transportation, qualified dangerous goods transport vessels should be selected. Battery packages should be fixed in well-ventilated cabins below the deck, away from fire sources and heat sources. For air transportation, it is necessary to declare to the airline in advance. The packaging must pass the UN38.3 performance test, and the gross weight of a single piece must not exceed 10 kilograms.

The storage and loading/unloading processes should not be overlooked either. The temporary storage site should be kept dry and well-ventilated, with the temperature controlled between 0 and 40 degrees Celsius. The stacking height of batteries should not exceed three layers. Loading and unloading operations must use mechanical auxiliary equipment. It is strictly prohibited to throw or roll the packages. Visual inspection should be carried out before and after transportation. If any damage or leakage of packaging is found, it must be isolated and treated immediately. Discarded packaging materials should be professionally disposed of in accordance with the regulations on hazardous waste management.
